Lighting plays an equally important role in crafting a compelling narrative. We utilize various dedicated studio lighting setups to illuminate the interview scene effectively such as various continuous LED lighting, softboxes, and diffusers.
Proper lighting not only highlights the subject but also creates a beautiful atmosphere that enhances the emotional impact of each story. By carefully controlling light intensity and direction, we can evoke specific moods and ensure that every frame resonates with viewers on a deeper level.
While visual elements are vital, audio capture is arguably the most critical component of our production process. Clear and pristine sound is essential for conveying emotion and authenticity in personal stories. To achieve this, we employ a range of microphones including boom mics, camera directional mics, and wireless lapel mics. Each microphone serves a specific purpose; for instance, lapel mics offer discreet yet powerful audio capture directly from the subject, while boom mics provide ambient sound that enriches the overall experience. It also allows for redundancy for audio capture.
Once filming is complete, we turn to Davinci Resolve Studio software for post-production editing. This industry-leading tool enables us to fine-tune both audio and video elements meticulously. From color grading to sound design, Davinci Resolve ensures that each project meets our exacting standards before delivery.
Security and accessibility are also paramount in our workflow. We rely on Amazon secure servers (and local redundancy storage solutions) for storing raw footage during editing phases—ensuring data protection at all times—and USB drives for physical delivery of the finished product.
